Robert Dimin featured in “Get the Picture” by New York Times Best Selling Author Bianca Bosker
In 2018-19, Bianca Bosker “interned” at Robert Dimin’s then gallery, Denny Dimin, while researching her expose of the New York Contemporary Art World.
Bosker rubbed elbows with gallerists, curators, collectors, and artists to uncover what the heck the art world was all about. Fully immersed at Denny Dimin, Bosker hustled at a Miami booth, watched the gallery relocate to Tribeca, and was around for the launch of the Hong Kong outpost as, is made very transparent in the book, she saw just how low a gallery’s bank account can get.
“‘I love being friendly because people are so offput by it in New York,’ Rob crowed. ‘It’s the funniest thing in the entire world. People think a smile means you’re dumb.’”
One of numerous quotes from Robert Dimin
